We were recently notified that due to some some internal obligations at the school, Judson University is ending the formal partnership they have with UTR Media, effective 6/1/23.  We were surprised and saddened to hear this news, but we were encouraged that the changes are due to some school priorities for this upcoming fiscal year, and not a reflection on the respect that they have for the ministry work of UTR.

Our strategic partnership began on 1/1/22, and a lot of exciting initiatives were accomplished in this short time – including a Rich Mullins tribute concert, the one-night-only reunion of Andrew Peterson and the Captains Courageous, and UTR providing artists for four different student chapels.

The next step for UTR Media is to once again stand on our own two feet as an independent non-profit.  Of course, we can only do that with your ongoing prayer and financial support.  UTR has never been afraid of change and adjusting to God’s plan for us, and we’re ready to see the adventure is in store.  Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our ongoing story and who have stood beside us so faithfully!

We didn’t want this moment to pass without expressing our deep appreciation for the last year and a half of partnership we had with Judson.  The university’s President, Dr. Gene Crume, truly showed his Kingdom-mindedness by championing the work of UTR.  The partnership happened at a time of particular need in UTR’s history, and they will forever be a part of our story.

Please keep UTR in your prayers as we seek to honor God with our next chapter and continue to dream big.
