ALBUMS & EPs
Rove No More: Indelible Grace VIII- Indelible Grace Music
Indelible Grace Music has been a pioneer in the retuned hymn movement for over 25 years, creating music that combines new melodies with classic hymn texts. This is their first studio recording in over 10 years, and every song is exquisitely written, performed, and recorded. This consistency is an amazing accomplishment. Well done! Eat – Brooke Ligertwood
This stunning album puts scripture to song – but don’t expect chorale arrangements and hymns. Instead, Brooke wraps you up in unique melodies and beautiful collabs that make songs of praise and lament akin to journal entries. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Jessica
The Me That Remains – Amy Grant
This album is filled with reflections by a woman facing the realities of time passing, some poignant commentary on the current environment in the USA, with an abundance of wonderful songs and music. Amy is being quite candid here, and we admire her honesty and insights. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Larry
Hymns Vol 2 – Paul Zach
A delightful album of reinterpreted hymns with music full of clear, lovely vocals and simply elegant instrumentation to support each song. Put on the headphones and carve out some time to soak up what this album has to offer. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Garret
180 – Sarah Reeves
No one does pop-dance music better than Sarah Reeves, and 180 is a celebration of life and love after divorce. Somehow, Sarah makes the rawest, most painful parts of her story sound like a party, and we are better for it. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Jessica
How Did We Get Here? – The Figs
Described as campfire-inspired, acoustic folk, with a powerful edge, this up-and-coming band is crafting songs meant to inspire. Hard to pin a genre on them, but so easy to listen to because of the variety and breadth of the musicianship. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Mick
Kingdoms – Dan Stirling
A perfect blend of thoughtful lyrics and electronic pop, sometimes bouncy & funky, while at other times lush and surrounding. If you’re looking for something fun for the summer, this could scratch that itch, but it could also scratch that itch you have to make you think deeper. Even more impressive when you discover Dan did all the music himself! [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Garret
Sunday Gulch – Dan Damon
Soothing, meditative, and built on the sounds of the Native American Flute, Dan collaborates with Mary Youngblood for this stirring record that reminds you that Creator God is in all. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Jessica
SINGLES
“Heaven In His Eyes” – Luke Bower
Most of us recognize this song from Rich Mullins’ posthumous release, The Jesus Record. But the original studio recording was actually on 1981’s ‘Behold The Man’ by Zion. Luke brings his earthy, soulful, gritty vocals that really shine a light on Rich’s beautiful lyrics. I was in the room when this was recorded – it gave me goosebumps then… and it still gives me goosebumps listening now. (from the upcoming album Back To Bellsburg) [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Dave
“Always” – Kings Kaleidoscope
As always, Kings Kaleidoscope offer a fearlessly honest take on following Christ. Matched with production that elevates this to a near-raucous victory tune, it is unique and special to the core. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Jessica
“No Pay” – Gabrielle Lovelace
The music is a driving mix of jazz, blues, and rock. The vocals are powerful and match the intensity of the music. And the message laments our overstimulated digital society. It’s all marvelous, so keep the music coming, Gabrielle. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Larry
“Hold Me Up” – Andrew Ripp, Jervis Campbell
This decidedly acoustic-pop song has that toe-tapping campfire feel, and the chorus is catchy, fun, and yet an earnest prayer. Warning: You may actually feel like you are sitting around a campfire and singing along. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Dave
“Bloom” – Ericka Corban
A wonderful upbeat jazz-leaning song with perfect vocals and production, features a personal message about how we can face changes as we go through life with a positive outlook. A lovely and engaging listen. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Larry
“Absolution” – Switchfoot
The 2nd single from their upcoming album, Forever Now, is reminiscent of the 2005 song “Stars” from Nothing Is Sound. If the first two singles are any indication, the upcoming album is going to be fire. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Mick
“Redemption Song” – The Hedgerow Folk
The Hedgerow Folk return with a beautiful, comforting song about the preciousness of our relationship with God. As always, the music and vocals are pristine. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Dave
“Devil Drive” by Band Reeves
A rip-roaring southern gospel anthem about not letting the devil have any foothold in your life, keep your eyes on Jesus while playing this song loud. Production skills on this song are top-notch. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Mick
“Like I Am Yours” – Hopeful.
A great summer bop, but also a fantastic song of repentance and rededication. The driving upbeat music is a welcome listening experience and helps us pay attention to the message. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Garret
“Suffer Well” – Good Weather Forecast
An anthem describing how to go through suffering in an age when no one wants to suffer. This group of guys from Germany are crafting energetic, hope-filled, and vulnerable songs that share a gospel-filled optimism.[SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Mick
“More of You (Mas De Ti)” – Evan Egerer
This Christian Latin pop music brings the energy for you! Buried in all that energy is the reminder that our true satisfaction comes with more of Jesus and less of ourselves. Even if you only understand English, there’s still plenty in here for you to enjoy and be encouraged by. [SPOTIFY] [YOUTUBE] – Garret
