We’re not sure how you feel…. but WE plan to Christmas hard this year! 🙂 There is a magic in this holiday (the sacred and secular traditions) that brings joy and peace. We all need some of that. And what would a Christmas be without music? Here at UTR, we enjoy curating the music of artists with a rooted faith. So this playlist is a celebration of fun standards, classic carols, and well-crafted originals to help be the soundtrack to this season of peace, joy, and love – as together we rejoice in the birth of our Savior. He is the “thrill of Hope, the weary world rejoices!”

Sp. Menu: Christmas (DEC 2020)
Christmas music is a unique, because we likely all have our favorite holiday albums and songs that we dust off once each year. And yet there is a steady stream of brand new versions of Christmas songs and Advent originals that comes out each year. It’s always fun to think carefully about what direction I want to take a playlist like this one. In 2020, because we need this right now, my themes are JOY and HOPE. You’re not going to find a lilting version of “Christmastime is Here” or a lullaby version of “Silent Night.” All of the song featured are upbeat, joy-filled, and will hopefully help us all to think about how the Light of the world has come to scatter all our darkness.
